Stomping along in our gumboots, my sister and I were on our way into a festival when we looked up from the mud and the crowds to catch the moon rising over the trees.
I watched this huge sculpture grow, piece by piece, during the set up of the Eclipse 2012 festival. Once complete, it was impressive in daylight, and magic at night.
The crowd at this Manu Chao show was an absolute chaos of wildly dancing fans. This shot was a lucky one, capturing the passion of his performance.

Wide Open Space festival, in the East MacDonnell Ranges, is a long weekend of music, red dust, and cold starry nights. I like the contrast, in this shot, between the textures of rope, plastic and timber, in front of the backdrop of the range.
